Chart Maker

You can make a variety of charts automatically on the fly by using this form and entering information into the fields. Conduct a class poll on any question or collect data.  Enter a category name into each of the category spaces and the corresponding value into the How Many space.  Favorite animal example.  Ask students in the class what their favorite animal is.  Enter the data as follows:  Category: lion How Many: 5     Category: giraffe How Many: 3     Category: tiger How Many: 2     Category: cat How Many: 1     Category: dog How Many: 5       After entering the animal names and data into the spaces, choose a chart type from the options and click the Display Chart button.  A chart will appear in the browser.  You may print this chart from the browser's print menu.  To see a different display of the data, click the browser's back button and choose another chart type. Do NOT enter any text into the How Many box except for numbers, otherwise the program will not create a chart. Please report any problems or bugs with this activity to slewis@trevornet.org
